This year, Easter is Sunday, April 16. Here are some great places you can take your kids for Easter Egg hunts, bunny photo-ops, bunny rescues, and other Easter activities in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area.
Bonney Lake, Washington – Easter Egg Hunt and Haulin’ Eggs 5K Fun Run
11 AM – Saturday April 15 – Kids’ Easter Egg Hunt – 7302 West Tapps Hwy, Bonney Lake WA 93891
The annual city of Bonney Lake Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 AM at Allan Yorke Park – rain or shine! No charge for this event which is open to kids age 1-11. Bring your own basket and don’t forget a camera for Easter Bunny photo ops.
The Haulin’ Eggs 5K is a hilly course where kids literally haul eggs while they run, collecting one egg at each kilometer checkpoint which can then be traded for goodies at the end of the race. The 5th and final egg on the course is an egg-shaped finisher prize keepsake. Awards go to the 1st place male and female finishers and participants will be done in time to join the family at the Easter Egg Hunt in Allan Yorke Park.

2017 East Pierce County Firefighter-Sponsored Easter Egg Hunts
East Pierce Fire & Rescue is sponsoring three Egg Hunts in East Pierce County in 2017 on Saturday, April 15, 2017. There is no charge for the event; however, food and monetary donations are being accepted to benefit local Food Banks.
- Sumner – Sunset Stadium, 1707 Main Street, Sumner WA
- 9 AM – Kids age 1-3
- 10 AM – Kids age 4-7
- 11 AM – Kids age 8-11
- Edgewood – 10 AM at Edgemont Park, adjacent to Edgemont Jr. High at 24th St E and 110th Ave E in Edgewood
- South Prairie – 10 AM at the South Prairie City Park located at Third and Tacoma Streets
Fife Teen Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt – Ages 11-16
The Fife Teen Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt begins at 8:30 PM on Friday, April 14 (check in begins at 8 AM) at Dacca Park, fields 3-4. $3 entry fee and the lucky child who finds the Golden Egg, wins a grand prize.
Fife Easter Egg Hunt – Ages 3 and Under, and up to 10
9:30 – 11:30 AM – Saturday, April 15 – Dacca Park and Dacca Barn
The Fife Lions Club and City of Fife are teaming up to sponsor the 2017 Easter Egg Hunt at Dacca Park and Dacca Barn, including an Egg Hunt, Easter Bunny photo ops, face painting, balloon making and prizes.
- Kids age 3 and under – 9:45 AM
- Kids age 4-5 – 9:55 AM
- Kids age 6-8 – 10:05 AM
- Kids age 9-10 – 10:15 AM
Redmond, Washington – Beat the Bunny 5K Run/Walk
9:30 AM – FREE Kid’s Dash – 12 and under
10 AM – 5K Run/Walk
Flat, fast course begins and ends at Signals art piece on Redmond Central Connector. Every participant who beats the bunny will receive a prize. Awards and raffle prizes will also be given out at 11 AM. Race starts at 10 AM, onsite registration and day of packet pickup starts at 8:45 AM. Registration fee includes super-comfy shirt, chip timing, finish line food and a donation to the Redmond Kiwanis. This is a family-friendly event, strollers and well-behaved leashed dogs may also participate!

Seattle, Washington, Bunny Bounce at Woodland Park Zoo
9:30 AM – 3 PM – Saturday, April 15 – Woodland Park Zoo
Bunny Bounce activities are free with zoo Admission or Membership, purchasing tickets in advance can save time, then enjoy crafts, bunny encounters and Egg Hunts for kids age 1-8:
- Egg Hunts held throughout the day – bring your own basket!
- Times/places for age-specific groups (1-3, 3-5, 6-8)
- Space may be limited, first come-first served
