Accounts Payable Accountant

Under the guidance of the Controller, the Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for the full cycle accounts payable process of multiple real estate businesses and commercial properties.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Full Cycle Accounts Payable Processing
Accurate and detailed Invoice coding and data entry
Vendor compliance: tracking of insurance, licensing, contracts, lien releases, etc.
Cash and Credit Account Management and Reconciliation
GL, Job Cost, and Cash Management Entries
Open and Distribute mail as needed
Year-end 1099 preparation and distribution
Other tasks as assigned

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

2-3 years Full Cycle Accounts Payable Experience Desired
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement
Detail-oriented with excellent follow through
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be motivated and possess the ability to work independently
Ability to get along and work well with others
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Desired
Sage 300 CRE “Timberline” Experience
Timberscan Experience a plus
Knowledge of the home building process and construction industry experience is preferred, but not required
Willing to train the right candidate

Compensation:
$20-30 per hour DOE
Employee paid Medical/Dental/Vision
401k
